dries beauty
like the roses beside my bed.
I was looking forward then
to your smile
through the
crack
in my door.
Only two days later and i cant
figure out
where the smiles went
i searched all morning
for your smell
in the sheets and i looked everywhere
for the sound
of your voice
and the light
of your eyes and the soft of your skin.
but all i have found
is this old shirt
and a curled up
picture in the corner still l
